2009 FCCP Spring Convening - Shifting Landscapes: Exploring Civic Engagement Strategies, Partnerships And New Possibilities

Registration Open! FCCP will be hosting the annual 2009 Spring Convening in Denver, CO, May 19th - 21st.

We invite you to join colleagues from across the country from May 19th to May 21st in Denver, Colorado, for FCCP's 2009 Spring Convening, Shifting Landscapes: Exploring Civic Engagement Strategies, Partnerships and New Possibilities. Weaved throughout the convening will be a focus on the power and potential of rooted and responsive state and national partnerships to achieve key policy advances and build lasting infrastructure. Sessions will explore new opportunities for modernizing elections and catalyzing game changing electoral reforms, reflect on lessons learned in 2008 that help us prepare for the 2010 mid-term elections, and identify emerging tools and innovations shaping and informing future work in the field.

FCCP is thrilled to be holding the Spring Convening in Denver, Colorado, the heart of the Intermountain West. We'll capitalize on our lovely location to take a deeper look at state-based work pioneered in the Western region. While focus topics will be applicable to work in every state and at the national level, grounding and learning about the changes in Colorado over the past several years and the unique role and potential of the West in the shifting national landscape will be highlighted throughout the convening. We hope you can join us!
