Sep 7-9 Tides Foundation Momentum Conference

Sep 7-9 Tides Foundation Momentum Conference

Momentum 2009 conference will take place in San Francisco, September 7-9.

More than a conference, Momentum is a creative space, an opportunity for connection, a place where boundaries are broken and bridges are built. At Momentum, the best new thinking by activists, philanthropists and social entrepreneurs provokes conversation, invites debate, and inspires leaders to view their work through new lenses while forging dynamic relationships. The program for Momentum 2009 is shaping up well. Addressing the themes of Capital, Rights, Conflict, Work, Carbon, Power, and Connections will be an engaging array of speakers including: Phaedra Ellis-Lamkins of Green for All, Kate Kendell of the National Center for Lesbian Rights, Ben Jealous of the NAACP, Ethan Nadelmann of the Drug Policy Alliance, Ali Noorani of the National Immigration Forum, Laura Quinn of Catalist, Amy Goodman of Democracy Now and Innovation Nation author John Kao.
