Dramatic recent increases in Latino civic participation have led to historic levels of community engagement from Latino communities throughout the nation. Despite this increased civic participation, the Latino community continues to be underfunded and to lack the necessary infrastructure to sustain engagement and advance real changes, from the neighborhood level to Capitol buildings across the U.S.
