for a funder briefing on the work of Advancement Project
Advancement Project’s Power & Democracy Program works with grassroots, state and national organizations to eliminate barriers to voting and assists in building power in communities of color. The program consists of three projects: Voter Protection, Redistricting for Inclusive Democracy, and the Right to Vote Initiative. Come learn about Advancement Project’s track record of accomplishments in these areas and how it partners with both public officials and community organizations, as well as its work plans to eradicate obstacles to civic participation, support multi-racial collaborations that use redistricting as a tool to build progressive power, and formulate a comprehensive strategy for raising public awareness of and support for stronger voting rights protections.
