The Supreme Court's recent Citizens United v. FEC decision removes decades-old barriers that have prevented corporations from publicly supporting or opposing political candidates. This is a topic of great debate in the press and its far-reaching impact on our democracy is just beginning to be explored. A coordinated multi-faceted strategy is being developed to challenge this decision and build a unified voice of public opposition. A funders-only discussion will follow a panel presentation with advocates and legal experts. Lunch will be served.

Michael Waldman, Executive Director, Brennan Center for Justice
Nick Nyhart, President and CEO, Public Campaign
John Bonifaz, Legal Director, Voter Action
Marc Caplan, Piper Fund
