New Request for Proposal from the Open Society Institute

Dear Friends,

I'm pleased to announce a new Request for Proposal from the Open Society Institute.

Please help us circulate it to those who may want to apply.

This RFP is designed to support state-based alliances that are prepared to advocate for greater transparency, equity and accountability in the allocation of federal recovery dollars at the state level.

It targets only six states: California, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Texas and Wisconsin.

Proposals are due August 28, 2009.
