Cedric Brown

Cedric Brown is the Director of the Mitchell Kapor Foundation and has 20 years of experience as an educator and funder, working with the San Francisco Foundation, San Francisco Education Fund, Switzer Foundation, San Francisco Cultural Equity Grants, and Level Playing Field Institute among others. He is a 2007 Association of Black Foundation Executives Connecting Leaders Fellow, is the board chair of Bay Area Blacks in Philanthropy, and serves on the steering committee of Funders Committee for Civic Participation. Cedric holds degrees from the UNC-Chapel Hill and Stanford University, and has an executive certificate from Georgetown University.
